About Me

I gained my B. A. in Fine Art at Chelsea College, and from there trained in Digital Editing at VET. I became an Assistant Editor for Despatches, Channel 4 working in ‘Apartheid’s Children’ and ‘Face of Debt’, etc.

Assisting in both TV and Film, I moved on to Junior Editor, working on two magazine programmes for Carlton; ‘The Max’ and ‘Wakey Wakey’. I have since been editing both Off-line and On-line for various channels:
Channel 4, BBC, Carlton, RTL and ACTV.

I am versatile as an Editor, with experience of working in factual, reality format, documentary, drama and animation. I am creative, analytical, emphatic and an experienced technical operator. Highly experienced in Avid Media Composer (all versions: Symphony, Adrenaline and Media Share).

Languages
Fluent in oral and written French.

Interests
At present, I am working towards a solo photographic exhibition. I have been learning African dance for the past 6 years and regularly perform with ADANTA – African Dance and Theatre Association, based in London.

Having worked in a cinema for 6 years, I am mad about films and would like to edit features. I am also actively interested in human rights, social issues (mental health, young offenders/prison system, refugees), and anthropology.
